What's it all about?
A swashbuckling mix of piratical fun and entertainment!

There will be LOTS of pirates, military and period reenactors here with guns and cannons to make plenty of noise! We will make sure there is plenty of music too with shanties and pirate rock to keep ye hoppin'. Buskers, jugglers and other entertainers will perform around the streets and harbour of Brixham. There will be other shows, reenactments and events around the town through the weekend.
When's it on?
Mayday Bank Holiday 2015 - 2nd to 4th May

It should be a THREE day event in 2015, we hope to keep the Monday due to popular demand.
Where is it?
Brixham, Devon, TQ5 8AW UK.

The festival takes place throughout the town with main stage right next to the Golden Hind boat in the inner harbour.
Who is it for?

We aim to make the festival suitable for everyone and all ages. There will be events for the kids to watch and take part in like puppet shows and street acts. Historical reenactments and plays during the day. Fancy dress competition for age groups from little to ancient! Music to suit all tastes and more music in the (pirate filled) pubs in the evening. There will be CANNONS, GUNS & MUSIC so it might be LOUD!
Do I need to dress up, buy tickets or register?

Please dress up if you can, whatever you can manage will be fine even if it is just an eye-patch! There will be LOTS of pirates in costume right through the weekend so you will fit right in. We stay in costume in the evening too.

No tickets are required unless we add specific events while we plan the 2015 event. We will keep you posted. The same goes for registration, nothing required so far.
